Pomegranate molasses is thick, dark and sweet-sour, sold at Middle Eastern grocers. Read the label: the best is just pomegranate juice, perhaps with a little sugar, not mostly glucose syrup and colouring. It’s strong and tangy, so start with a spoonful and taste.
